It was an ordinary morning in Costa Rica when we first saw coffee being prepared the traditional Costa Rican way. Not by a machine. Not from a capsule. A person with a chorreador — a wooden stand with a cloth filter — stood calmly, slowly pouring hot water in a thin stream, as if every drop mattered. Waiting. Taking their time. The aroma that filled the air was incredible — rich, warm, and somehow alive.
We returned to Bulgaria with 2 kilograms of coffee and a chorreador, carefully wrapped in our suitcase as if we were carrying something fragile and precious. Our friends finished the coffee in just 3 days. Then they asked for more. And more. That was when we understood something important — we did not simply want to import coffee. We wanted to share the entire experience: the slow pace, the ritual, the moment of silence before the first sip.
Pura Vida means a way of life — appreciating the little things, enjoying the moment, and living with greater ease. This is exactly what we want to bring to you through our coffee.
We carefully select coffee with exceptional origin and character, so that every cup can tell a story. We work with coffee that impresses not only with its aroma and taste, but also with the way it is grown and processed.
For us, specialty coffee is more than just a category. It is a relationship with the product — from the coffee plantation to the very last sip.
We believe that great coffee should not be complicated. It should be clean, balanced, and enjoyable. It should invite you to discover new aromas while simply enjoying the moment.
Whether you prepare it as espresso, V60, or in any other way you love, our goal is one: to make every cup of coffee a little more special.
We do not simply sell coffee. We share a part of a place we love and a way of life that has inspired us. From Costa Rica to Bulgaria — from our family to yours.
Sip. Feel. Enjoy the moment.
